Rocks and Pines was started in 1965. This makes 2005 our 40th year in business. We started as father and son ranchers having an interest in working with wood. We actually started by hand-peeling our posts and butt-treating them. We quickly decided there had to be a better way so made our own Peeler, Drilling and Doweling machines. That worked well until about 1985 when we bought a commercially produced Peeler because demand necessitated producing faster with more production.
In 2003-2004, we replaced all our Peeling, Drilling, Doweling and wood-processing machines with new equipment to continue to offer high-quality products.
Our two philosophies have always been "you can't sell it if you don't have it" (so we keep a large stock in inventory) and "we'll let our quality be our best way of advertising." 40 years later and still going strong!
