CSS is a new, community-owned manufacturer of peeled posts and poles for agricultural, residential, and specialty uses. We offer high-quality, low-taper and shaping options including mortise and tenon, point and cap, and rounding.
We can provide untreated or treated material to customers throughout the West. Located in eastern Oregon, we purchase all logs locally. In addition to Lodgepole, we have access to extremely strong inland Douglas Fir as well as other species.
We are also a licensed manufacturer of Forest Concepts specialty products, including erosion control structures (FlowCheck) and riparian restoration structures (ELWd) - highly effective, built without metal fasteners, designed for easy field assembly.
CSS is a member of the Healthy Forests Healthy Communities initiative and promotes the use of certified wood products. Our goals are to sell high-quality products while supporting local, sustainable forest practices.
